i will also say this:
i have the superfly because i didnt see the harm in spending the little extra for the doors already on it.
but if you can afford the big mambajamba (superfly without doors) or if you can find an older superfly (same thing, without the doors) you can always get the doors later and see how it goes for you.
even things like the maccat tarps without doors have great coverage, and you can get things like the griz beaks or doors, or even modified later to make it an all season tarp as your budget allows, and can give you immediate coverage for outings.
you were saying you wanted something that you can use for an all season tarp, and while the noah tarps and others you could pitch in a diamond might not be the best choice for a winter tarp, and even can be a pain when its a bit of a heavy storm.
