Guys awesome replies thank you.
Hppyfngy - Good point on height being an issue, I never thought about that. Thanks.
OG - Awesome picture thanks. That gives me an decent idea on how tight things shall be. In my lower height mini van it looks like the hammock will most likely be close to the ground once I'm inside. Am I correct in seeing that there is no real suspension on the ends of the mammock, the ends are just fastened to your hammock stand?
You hammock is also taking most of the length of the van front to rear so even hanging on a diagnol from the corners of the mini van it might be a tight squeeze. Did you come up with a list of shorter hammocks to choose from that would make fitting in the van a bit easier?
Walking bear - Thanks heaps for the inside dimension on space available. Very greatful since I'm in Thailand and the van is in the states. I've never laid in a bridge hammock but your point of being hung from all the corners is great insight. I'll begin reading about bridge hammocks to get my head around if they offer more or less comfort than my Warbonnet or Hennessy.
Turnerminator - i'll be very interested to see your pics since you most likely have the same space limitations. Also get some of your stand as I'm curious with what you came up with. years ago i used to live in peterborough
, small world.
Awesome info, thankls heaps.
