Congratulations on your new Clark! I have a quick observation from looking at your pictures. It looks like it is strung quite a bit too tight. I pitch mine so there is actually quite a bit of sag in the bug net/weathershield, with the hoops actually leaning towards each other slightly. It tightens up when you get in, the zippers are much easier to zip with a LOT less stress on them, and I find that it is immensely more comfortable with a little more sag. Look at the top line of the hammock when it is hung in the video on the Clark website.
It gives you a pretty good approximation of the proper amount of tension. I think you will find it gives you a flatter lay, fewer longitudinal stress lines to deal with, and a lot more comfort. Give it a try.
