I had a great time. Thanks, Rev, for getting us all together.
It was great seeing some old hanging buddies, and it was great to meet some new ones.
Here are a few pics from the weekend.
Jo Jo got the lowdon on SlapStraps.
Saturday morning was beautiful.
I played hammock ninja.
Blackbird basking in the mornin' light.
Jo Jo's son Elliot is under the green Jacks R Better tarp in an ENO DN, and Robert, another of Jo Jo's sons, is under the sand-colored Chinook tarp in a WBBB 1.1 dbl.
Here's Elliot in the ENO -- being a little fuzzy, for some reason.
After my little stroll around, I put my new GargoyleGear Hammock Footrest to use. This thing is cool.
Robert in the Blackbird
I set these rigs up for Robert and Elliot in the dark while they were still on the road with their dad and new hanger Reynolds. The JRB tarp is downside up.
Rev's WBBB in the foreground, with Captain Smiley's rig glowing in the morning light in the background.
MB Cruzin is a-snoozin'.
Santee State Park is beautiful.
That's the I-95 bridge over yonder.
yone for making it fun.
Joel (Jo Jo) and Reynolds (no HF screen name yet, AFAIK) check out the lake shore.
Elliot and Robert
More tomorrow -- or so.
It was a great lot of fun. Thanks again to everyone for making it fun.
