Yep gotta love the braided mason line.
Actually I like using for tarp guidelines using it in UCR mode. Since the line is so inexpensive, the lines are about 12 feet long to reach those ties off a little further away. If the stake point is closer, can use a clove hitch or marlin spike hitch as the knot.
One thing I found, at least on the two rolls I have; the red is just a bit tighter than the yellow. Don't know if this always the case, but I'll find out shortly since I'm almost through the first two rolls of mason line.
The only place I've seen the braided mason line is Home Depot.
