Clark hammocks like ENO's are cinched end hammocks. They have a channel for the suspension to go through at each end and then use a knot or larkshead for the suspensions attachement. If you were to try and feed a ridgeline through the hammock you would have to make holes for it to pass and I think you would not have it high enough to allow you to lay in the hammock.
Thank you. I see your point. I don't think it would be a big deal to run the line, but if it was to run from the mid point of each end, it would indeed be skirting just above your nose.
