This was more a result of user error than anything. I was using paracord and had the belief that everything had to be bowstring tight. It also took about 2 seasons of leaving the thing up for several extended periods (2 weeks+) before it became obvious. It didn't ruin the tarp either, I just laid the seam sealer on extra heavy & wide along the ridge seam and it stopped any further leaks.
I wish I still had the thing so I could take pics. I assumed that it was common, at least with PU coated nylon. Since joining HF & becoming a diehard hanger I have since learned better.
