I haven't done a lot of comparison. He lists it as 5 oz per 24', so it's relatively light (for webbing) and not too expensive. And it's rated for strength, which a lot of websites don't do. And it's definitely polypropylene and low-memory stretch, which you also can't confirm on most websites.
I'm sure if you searched around you could find something similar, and maybe even for cheaper. But I know Ed and I'd rather give my money to him than to some big discount company who doesn't care about hammockers...that's one of the reasons I haven't bothered to search for a better deal. YMMV.
