I tried the quilt hooks (there is another post somewhere with me using the ridge line hooks too). They work great, but they are a little harder to get off the line for use on doors, especially the entry door. I usually had to use two hands. The hooks that I am using for the doors that Dutch sent me have a small half ridge in the loop that holds the line in place, but doesn't take as much effort when I want to take them off. What's cool is they stay on well because of the leverage on the "handle" of the hook. Here is a sideways picture of them.... they are the one's that look like little bottle openers.
Here is a fuzzy picture in use. The line seems to be obscuring the hook somewhat. Maybe I'll get to take some better pictures with a real camera later this weekend.
I like the idea of using the quilt hook for the tie out. I'll probably use that idea on my tie outs for the WBBB shelf and other side.
