I ordered one of these
in aluminum and one of these
and they arrived today. The price wouldn't be bad if you could pick them up at the store in PA., but the shipping is horrible.
A few minutes of lashing produced this...
A few more minutes of slipping the ends together and I had this...
Broken down and in the bag...
The weight without the bag is about 32 lbs. Each of the fifteen 4' pieces is 2.2 lbs.
This was quickly thrown together and the hang needs refining. For me, the legs need shortened or another 4' section (there are 3 left over) could be added to the ridgepole to allow me to get a proper hang angle while maintaining the correct sitting height.
The pieces slip together easily with no slop. I STRONGLY recommend drilling and pinning the joints so you can move it around (set it up) without the pieces falling apart.
I had high hopes when I ordered these and my expectations were met.
That is just beautiful!!
Costly, but beautiful. So is the http://store.colemans.com/cart/suppo...ng-p-1884.html
