Broke down like the above, yep probably the WBBB.
But I don't care for bugnets I can't take off, and the Dutchware, although wonderful candy, bumps the BIAS price up at least 20 bucks. You can go w/o for a starter set-up, but who am I foolin'! Everybody wants Dutch stuff sooner or later.
Single layer will also bring the BIAS rig down considerably. Handy, but not needed, and when you move into UQ's, the second layer will have minimal use over weight savings.
Tarp choices are different for me too, but that's HYOH as is the rest. Choosing between pricing charts, will never work as well as finding a hang somewhere, and just trying out the different rigs.
I would still choose one or more of our own cottage venders over any of the cookie cutter BB offerings in a heartbeat.
It is extremely comforting to know that you own a piece of gear, made by active HF members, who allow their product to come under constant scrutiny on a daily basis, from such an informed consumer base, then stand behind said product personally, accepting both compliments and criticism, in stride, with both grace and efficiency.
I know of at least one vender, who got in his vehicle and traveled 500 miles or better to perform a field repair on a piece of his merchandise, so an HF member did not have to call his section hike. Name me your contact at Eno, GT, HH, that's going to do that?
There is certainly more to measure than total price.
