I would probably consider using a ripstop with DWR treatment to combat the condensation you may get with a tighter/water resistant material.
Here's just a rough idea of hydrostatic head ratings of various fabrics.
DWR ripstop nylon = 400-450ish
Momentum 90 = 650
Silnylon = 1000 - 1500
This is not exactly measuring apples to apples, but it does give us a general idea of the wind/water blocking ability.
The more breathable material would block less wind/water, but would also cause less condensation in the slightly warmer, humid nights you face.
