If I am not mistaken the bb comes with a structural ridge line. It is non adjustable though and for good reason. If you were to lengthen the ridgeline by even two inches, you would rip the bugnetting at the ends.
If you want the ability to have an adjustable ridge line, you can't have a hammock with integrated netting. I use a separate net for the buggy seasons. Here in Guam it's year round... Hope this helps.
