You can add another name to the list! I was poking around on this forum for quite some time, and as soon as I saw the TurtleDog stand, I knew I had to make one.
For my ENO Doublenest (my first hammock), I wanted to make sure the stand could easily support two people. I ended up using 2x4's, 10" gate hinges with appropriately sized bolts, nuts, and washers, and a total of 13' of galvanized chain link top rail. I originally had the top rail at 14' but it was simply too long when I brought it into my apt living room
Side note: I like the 10" gate hinges because I was able to attach the shackles in the available hole which was perfectly centered (opposed to off to one side).
