yes and no. i posted this laying in bed looking at the stands last night, and then when i woke up this morning i thought "why not just bury the 4x4's in concrete in the ground and be done" saves me from buying 4 i dont really need....
my original idea was to have a stand tall enough that when the hammock was hung it would have been some place under the center line of the uprights and that would hopefully have put the tipping force too low to topple. this would make for, essentially, and infinitely adjustable set of "trees"
so what you guys think is the ideal "tree width" for most hammocks?
