Real life experience and DURABILITY test in my own home with my exceptionally heavy body have yeilded that the 7/64ths can endure numerous nights (and days) of suspending me.
I'm 300+ lbs and have used the same 7/64 dynaglide whoopie for two+ years. No failure. During any hammock builds and testing, I'll switch out the same whoopie to the new hammock and it performs well. The whoopie has seen lots of hammocks. Very little sign of degradation in the line and its ability to adjust and hold. Without actually counting the days, I'd say a minimum of easily 300 nights, same whoopie.
I give it two thumbs for a good line. 1/8 is good too.
