Same question, what kind of layers were you sleeping in which might have provided some back insulation? Even if just a few degrees, like fleece jacket? Sounds like you could have gone even a few degrees colder.
Because this is what I have been saying: it seems to me like a 30*F rating for a 6 oz per sq.yd piece of Climashield is extremely conservative. Considering I have done mid/high 40s with a 2.5 oz layer of CS and NO OTHER LAYERS. I look forward to seeing how far folks will be able to push these UQs this winter. I'm betting most folks will be able to well past the 30F rating!
