before downloading another browser do a simple ping test to make sure your computer can access the site without the browser
start > run > type "cmd" > type "ping -n 1 www.hammockforums.net"
it should come up with a response with some info and say 0% loss if that fails try it at the router level typically http://192.168.1.1
and would most likely be under diagnostic should have a ping section which will test if your router itself can access the site if that fails then its most likely youre ISP for some reason
