It sure is. I have to thank you Shug for helping to get me back into the piney woods. In my younger days (many years ago) I used to backpack quite a bit throughout New England, but a back injury put a stop to that real quickly and even though I tried several times, I just could not sleep on the ground. Fast forward to a few years ago, and I ran across this crazy guy on You Tube backpacking in -26F snow in MN and having a blast. I think I saw every video you had made to that point, and was inspired to try hammock camping. One overnighter in a hammock, and I was hooked! No back issues and I can now get out there again--albeit a lot slower...
. I know this has been said many times over, but I just want to thank you for sharing your experiences and knowledge--you've dramatically changed my life for the better and brought me back into the piney woods, now here in NM.

The cottage shops on HammockForums are the best--they make it really easy to get out there!
