Glad you can do it,,but its not for me especially at my age. And personally I think the odds are against you in the long run.
1. You do it by yourself. saftey in numbers.
2. Odds are against you. the more you do anything risky, you drive the odds up against you. When you push the unknowns, and take the risk,,you drive the odds up.
3. Too many unknowns, such as a weak limb or tree or equipment failure at some point.
When I was into Mt. Climbing back in the late 60's and early 70's, even with a team, we had injuries, and failures. All you need is a freak wind or storm and your into something by yourself that could be considered troubling. Even with a teammate, in high wind, your a sail in the top of a tree where I would think the limbs could become structurally unsound. Mt. Climbing we clung to rock, your clinging to wood.
