I made a whoopie ridgeline from lash-it over Christmas vacation and it worked well. *It's great rope and would also work well for food hanging or guylines.
My 2 cents on making whoopies with lash-it. *The rope is so small, it was a little tough to bury at first. *I finally found that a small wire doubled in half worked great for pulling the end through the bury. *I used one strand of copper wire taken out some low voltage electrical wire I had that was sitting around. *At first, I tried to tape the end of the rope that I was pulling through, but the tape kept catching on it's way through the bury. *It worked a lot better to separate the strands for an inch or two and cut half of them so the part doubled over through the wire is about the same thickness as the rest of the rope. *Amsteel is so slippery, it pulls right through even if it doesn't have a sharp point.*
