I think most states say that all front-seat passengers and children under 6 yrs or 60 pounds (some states are up to 80 pounds) have to be buckled...other than that, the ones I've lived in don't have laws that would affect someone in the back. I'll be sure to have a look at the en-route states while I'm traveling, though.
I am interested in why they put the TV up top, though. I can't see into the hole where the wires pass through to see behind the panel, but I took a picture through it and can't see anything but empty space and a few wires. Seriously confusing. I got the schematics from Jayco but haven't looked at them yet.
Boot - Yeah, an arctic package would be nice but I like most everything else about this model - especially the floorplan - more than all the others I saw. One reason I got a good price is because December is their slowest month and they needed to move inventory...which meant picking something on the lot. Glad I liked this one so much! (They actually called one down from Denver, but same thing...it was existing inventory.)
But I'd still be customizing it even with that package...just focusing on different things!
Ian - the roll bar would only work if I could tie into the frame somewhere. The "studs" are probably 2x2s and I wouldn't trust them to hang from. I'm not sure there's a good way to hang inside that the wife will accept. I still look around from time to time and try to think of ideas, though...but I don't think it's gonna happen. The HandyHammock stand will probably be standard equipment on the RV, though!
The bed is actually pretty comfortable...I was surprised. Not gonna stop me from hammocking, though!
