I purchased some small stainless steel hog rings from West marine, crimped them tight and put a short length of heat shrink over the top. I have the same loop on the loose end. These are attached to my doors. I set the length so they could be easiliy clipped to the other doors tri ring with a tiny plastic sbiner and keep them stowed under the tarp with no slop. I made 2 with loops not attached for the pull outs about 6' long. I plan to larkshead one and sbiner the other when using the pull outs. I will give this a couple of trips and see if it works for me.
I am becoming disenchanted with my SLS as recommended by Dejoha. I dont think there is a more easily adjusted tarp suspension, but I can't pack it up without the tarp getting all over the ground. Not what I want in a muddy situation. I need to play with it some more.
