Just got back from our 'hang drive-by'... which came later in the day than initially planned after we discovered our hot water tank had died last night
. Husby and my dad both worked REALLY hard to get that all fixed by mid-afternoon.
The trail still has some compacted snow/ice as well as some chunks of old snow hanging on in patches, but there's a fair amount of mud out there too. Hammocks are definitely the way to go in a situation like that IMO. Got to check out a few lashups and talk to a few folks before cold and impending darkness chased us back out of the canyon while the campfires got going.
