They are sometimes full of yahoos, they are garbage dumps at times, and you have to be careful where you step around them since there are no privy's (it seems no one ever mentions this). As many of you know how to use the hammocks as a shelter we really only have to be in the general area. With the garbage there can be other problems. There are bears now roaming in the park. I hear they have a Jersey accent since they may have come over the mountains from there.
Haha!! Yes I wasn't suggesting sleeping in the shelter, or even necessarily being next to it but there are some nice views from that general area. I doubt we would run into any yahoos if it is early enough in the season.. I have usually gone up the Timp Torn myself from the Anthony Wayne parking lot. There are actually a few places to hang along that ridge walk.
