    $30 PolyD Hammock at Dutchwaregear.com

    I am proud to offer a hammock in my newest line of fabrics, PolyD 1.4. PolyD 1.4 is a polyester with a mini diamond ripstop grid. The polyester is a very low stretch fabric and the diamond ripstop is extra strong. It also comes with a double ended stuff sack made out of ARGON sil. I am introducing them starting at only $30. Also I am offering two of my premium suspension at a discount. My cinch buckle on amsteel loop with webbing and titanium Dutchclips, or titanium whoopee hooks with whoopee slings, continuous loops and tree huggers. I am starting with the Deep Purple and Navy Blue and offer them in 10 and 11 foot versions.

    Yeah I have a total of 6 colors in PolyD and more coming. Purple is my wife's favorite and since I was doing black and brown in ARGON I wanted to do some brighter colors.

    What are the main differences between Argon and PolyD? Feel? Stretch?

    The ARGON has a very soft feel, like cotton. While the PolyD is more silky and like satin but not slick. The PolyD has very little stretch and feels substantial under you. These are the 1.4 ounce per square yard but the 1.2 still feels very substantial under me. Definitely firmer with less shoulder squeeze. The PolyD is obviously lighter and the diamond ripstop just looks cool. The ARGON ripstop is more pronounced and square.

    Maybe you will win one in the raffle. In any case it will be a great place to try one. That is one of the reasons I want to offer these it this price. I am certain that the PolyD will be very popular.

    Just giving you a hard time because I fought the urge to buy your wares for awhile, but lately I've been losing.

    Dagnabit!

    Couple of questions;
    Are the gathered ends of the PolyD hammocks triple stitched like the Argon ones?
    Recommended for us 250ish lb giant economy sized folk?

    You are fine at 250 for the 1.4 and yes they are tripe stitched.
