    Mikes quilts directions

I will say that Mike's DIY quilt directions are done as well as he makes his quilts. I made a full length TQ/UQ with 800+ down as my first sewing project ever and it turned out pretty darn good if I do say so myself. It has baffles and 15.5oz of downy goodness in it. That will take me to REALLY low. I recommend giving it a try.

guys/gals. these are intended for use in conjunction with my te-wa underquilt. it may work as a uq as mazz1111 pointed out and as seen in the photos, but the standard flat baffles run horizontally and when you force a flat baffle to form a curve youre bound to buckle and fold them and that can result in loss of loft - so i dont sell them for this use - however they will work, and you may have great results. That is why my UQ has vertical differential baffles, to help avoid this.
also, that color scheme was a temporary run, the quilts are going to be black on silver just like the te-wa underquilt.
thanks for the interest, i appreciate the kind gesture.

    Some final spec's

I just added more photos of this top quilt to the gallery. Also the final spec's measure: approx. 47 X 38 X 77. Obviously, this quilt tapers at the foot end to eliminate any dead air pockets and increase warmth. It also saves weight. I uploaded a photo that clearly illustrates the quilt's loft. It's pushing 3 inches ( I opted for overstuff on mine ). Let me know what ya think.
