    Te-Wa Top Quilt

    Hello folks,

Just want to announce that I picked up my custom made top quilt from te-wa today. This thing is sweet. Tailored to my 6' 195 lb frame ,this quilt is designed for use in my hammock(WBBB) and has a velcro foot box with a drawcord. Also, te-wa included a drawcord and a snap closure at the neck end for added warmth and comfort. It tapers down towards the foot box so there is not too much dead space. Filled with fluffy 800+ down, this beast will keep me warm into the 30's. Oh, did I mention that it weighs a scant 17.5 ozs. That's right. To all you newbie's, or seasoned hangers out there, you need to check these out.

    Regards
    pisanodc

Really? An endorsement like that without pics?

Yes with a weight like that we NEED photos, how does the neck drawstring work?

    Nice endorsement!
One of mike's Te-Wa quilts is on my list for sure. I believe there is still a tarp and one more hammock in front of it, but it's getting closer. Really looking forward to it now.

I keep wavering between taking the DIY route for quilts or going for the Te-Wa.

What's the hammock on your wishlist, Cannibal?
.. truly to enjoy bodily warmth, some small part of you must be cold, for there is no quality in this world that is not what it is merely by contrast. Nothing exists in itself. If you flatter yourself that you are all over comfortable, and have been so a long time, then you cannot be said to be comfortable any more. - Herman Melville

The only one I don't have (well, besides the Lawson thing); a Clark. It's just a hard one to pull the trigger on, it's not like I want one of the less expensive ones. Oh no, Cannibal has to have a Vertex. What a putz!

I'm afraid your 'local computer links' aren't going to work.

You need to either upload them to the gallery, or use the Attach option under the Advanced Post Reply.
