What samsara says! This is not the place to bring anymore than just what you need.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

Well if the sand is that bad; maybe we can do foil pack breakfasts with the fixin's. Should cook out okay. I also saw a aluminum DO in Target. Thinwall cast made for regular oven or stove top. Could use stakes or trivet to sit it on. The top looked like it would hold a few coals. Non stick coating on inside. It was pretty lightweight.

For friday night I was thinking of humping in some pork chops. Smother those in sauerkraut and apples either foilpack style or DO (Bring enough for all who come). Rest of my meals are gonna be of the dehydrated variety or freezerbag method.

It sounds like Rich only eats when he camps.

Guess I'd better drag out the dehydrator and recipe books.

I'm just re-read first post. "...not easy." I'll take PMs if y'all think it would be too much for me.

You'll probably want to join up with someone to do your hike in so that you don't have a problem finding the camping spot but you shouldn't have too much trouble getting in. It's not "difficult" per se... it's just not the type of hike that you want to load yourself down and bring too many superfluous extras

Hoping to join in on this one, just wondering what the drinking water supply is at this site. Lake vs stream?

    I will be there.
But, I gotta ask??? What is "Peak Bagging"??
It just occurred to me, that if you allowed that the sand hills were peaks, you could bag a few.

Is that it?? What's my prize??
