How much down

Not sure if this has been covered but how do you know how much down you need? I am going to make a 10x15 pillow and not sure how much I will need. Looking at the 850+ fill down from wildernesslogics.com

3 oz should do the trick.

Hit or miss as it will depend on what you find comfortable.

My 12"x17" has 5.25oz of 800fp and my 9"x15" has 3oz of ~800fp. I recently removed about an ounce from the large one and a half ounce from the smaller one as they were too firm for my tastes.

I will probably order 3 then thanks. Its crazy how expensive down is! I checked the local good will but everything is a mix of down and feathers
