Hammock for a new hanger

I've been reading all around this forum for the past couple of weeks upon deciding which hammock to buy. I've narrowed it down due to the following features:
Must be simple
Around $60
Included hanging system is a big plus
Good warranty is a big plus
must have an attached bug net

Due to these "must haves" I have narrowed it down to a byer moskito and a skeeter beeter ul.
I like that the byer is brazillian but doesn't include a hanging system and doesn't match the warranty of the skeeter beeter.
Skeeter Beeter ul is a bit more expensive but comes with hanging ropes and has a 10 YEAR WARRANTY!!! Nothing I have ever bought has had this.

So are there any factors/issues that you would like to address to me about either hammock before purchasing. Currently I am leading towards the skeeter beeter ul

First, welcome to HF. Glad to have you join the ranks of the "sophisticated campers".

Go ahead and get whichever you're leaning toward. Starting out with an entry level, inexpensive model is a great way to go. It gets you off the ground and lets you experience hammocking without sinking in too much scratch. You can always upgrade later if you wish. Whatever you choose, good luck and enjoy!

You are probably going to want to change the Skeeter Beeter suspension system one way or the other. Most people do. I don't know about the Byers but at 5' 9" and 250# I found the Skeeter beeter a little small for my taste however.... I also went from a HUGE big thing to that in one fell swoop. Plus I maxed out the Skeeter Beeter weight limit real quick. My understanding is they have changed the SB somewhat so those issues may not be a problem any more. All that said... It is a great hammock and I would not hesitate to recommend it. Plus Chief Hammock officer, one of the Grand Trunk owners is a member here and has been very supportive of the members who have needed to get a hold of him.

don't think size nor weight will be an issue as I am 5'9 and weigh 160 lbs

IF the byer your talking about is the mouskito traveler my friend had it and i have one problem with it. The sides aren't raised at all so its not that hard to fall out of the hammock and into the bug net ripping it and trapping you inside.

Definitively sounds like a flaw. Wouldn't want the hammock flipping and ripping while i am out on the river side. Think i am going to go with the skeeter beeter. Now I only have one question:
I have read the thread on where the person bought a skeeter beeter pro from some online distro outlet and he made a big fuss about warranty issues since he didn't buy directly from the manufacturer. So will the warranty be honored if I buy off of ebay for $45. If it isn't i would just prefer to just buy from the manufacturer for $65 to get warranty coverage.
