This should prove no different. I'll be leaving bright and early tomorrow morning around 6am. See you folks there.
I still have your pad! Lets see if I can remember to bring it to you this time!

    See you there!

I've got a few things to take care of tomorrow morning, but I should be there sometime in the early afternoon, hopefully before the rain blows in.

Other than a few people who will be going paddling, are there any other group things happening?

Group naptime around 2 or 3 in the afternoon.

I've hurt my neck since getting home. I'm still coming, but I probably won't be cutting up any wood or doing any hiking or paddling.

Which brings to mind something. If anyone could, please bring a small plastic tarp to cover the firewood with, just in case we get a gully washer. Keeping the fire going in a hard rain is easier when the wood is dry

Still feeling under the weather. Afraid I'm gonna miss this one

May do Lake Murray again in a couple of weeks. I'll post to see if anyone else can make it. Look forward to meeting you all.

I don't even think there is going to be a few people. Looks like it's just going to be you and me.

What kind of Kayak do you have? I have the Wilderness Systems Tsunami 140w/rudder.

It is a little long for the creek, but I'll make it work!

If 14' is a little long then my 17 1/2' Grumman Canoe is gonna get stuck somewhere...

I'll bring my splitting maul for and a tarp for the wood, some of the stuff I'm bringing will need to be split as well and I don't mind taking care of any other logs while I'm at it.

Once I get some float bags for my Canoe I'd love to go camping out on the lake if I can tag along.

Now you guys are making me feel like going even if I get soaked.
Unfortunately, I already told my son's football coach that he will be at the game on Saturday.
He's a wide receiver and safety, so the team needs him pretty bad.

Well the hang was a success, and there was so much sunshine I almost forgot what rain was, and as a matter of fact, it STILL hasn't rained!! I'll put up some pics later, maybe.
Relax, monsters under the hammock are easily distracted by twister-playing squirrels.

What a horrible, horrible weekend. Here I was hoping for rain and lightning and napping in my hammock...all I got was temps in the 90's and bright sunshine!
