Hello there!
I am a new hanger from TN. I have been away from camping for a long time and have recently decided I need more time in the woods. That being said I had originally planned to start back with a tarp tent style. Then I started researching hammocks and discovered that there can be much more than I expected. I have already learned quite a bit and hope to learn more as I progress. If you are in the area and want to do some backpacking let me know.

Welcome aboard, Dave. There are quite a bit of active hammockers from Tennessee on this forum. I would recommend going to any hammock hangs in the area to check out set ups, etc. Once you get off the ground, you will never go back.
Welcome to the forum from Acworth, GA. If your free this weekend me and a buddy are doing Fiery Gizzard trail. You are more than welcome to join in. We plan on going up Friday and camping at the trailhead.
