What does your hammock and suspension weigh?

First, I know you have to have a scale to do this. I got a nice one, cheap, at Harbor Freight.

Second, I know my weight doesn't include bug nets, quilts, tarps, snakeskin or jumbo pee bag (quite a bit of urine related talk recently on HF.)

Nevertheless....my Dutch argon 11' x 60" hammock, with 12' poly straps, no whoopies, and 2 chubby carabiners:

    Total weight: 18.45 ounces.

I could probably get down to a pound if I bought some $50 carabiners. Whoopies would also save some weight, but that's not how I roll.

That is a loaded question as many of us have way more than just one hammock and TQs. UQs Tarps ect. For me and my weight I usually use and or DIY double layer hammocks. I tell people I don't make ultra light hammocks, I make industrial strength hammocks.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

Homemade argon 1.6 hammock =10oz, 5 oz straps, whopies, and toggles (AHE)
My next hammock will be a poly D 1.2 ghost hammock design about 5oz and am going to try dynaglide whoopies and shorter straps, probably 4 Oz total for suspension, just over 1/2 lb total

What does your hammock and suspension weigh?

My homemade NS hammock (10') with ridgeline, whoopies, toggles, tree straps, Dutch clips, and bishop's bag weighs in at 17.6 oz.

My "cold weather" hammock (no bug net) is 11 ft gathered end. Including hammock, ridgeline, whoopies, toogles, streestraps, and stuff sack - it comes in right at 1 pound.

Of course, tarp and quilts are extra.
