someone has to mention the fact....that its impressive and cool to think that little piece of metal can hold my backside off the ground safely and securely. No one is saying....that darn clip, broke, and I'm still rubbing the pain away. ;-)

Dutch's all in one whoopie hook suspension is the fastest to set up suspension that I have found.
Boy and I rock the hooks.

Couldn't live without them... Okay slight exaggeration, maybe...
I splice them onto the continuous loop on the hammock so I can swap out any suspension. That way I can just clip to the whoopie/ucr/webbing as I see fit instead of having a bunch of hooks on different suspensions. Wouldn't hang without them!

I think the Whoopie hooks are a really cool piece of gear, but I don't think I would like the short strap on the other end of the all in one suspension. I hate double wrapping and fiddling with setting the strap. It seems like the strap would require a lot of adjustment. I cant get my head around how that would be better than the infinite ability to adjust a marlin spike hitch or a cinch buckle system. I am, however, a big fan of detachable suspensions for packing wet or sappy suspensions separately. I am about to convert to continuous loops and a dutch biner to attach either traditional whoopies or cinch buckles. To each his own, I guess.
All my hammocks have whoopee hooks!
