For Sale: green, down-filled Speer PeaPod. I don't remember if it's the 900 fill, 20 degree rated version version . I doubt since I've used it at freezing and that's a dubious claim. This PeaPod has been babied and never stored compressed. It's in great shape and has only lost a few feathers since 2008 or so. It's only been compressed in my backpack for 10 nights or so. Overall, I'd certify this PeaPod as "like new".
The old thread when I tried to sell March 2013 is https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...%28down%29-300 has more info and comments.
Why I'm selling - I live in Washington state. It's cold and breezy for most of the year in the North Cascades and even at low elevations near Puget Sound. Bugs are bad for 6 weeks in the mountains after snow melts off. The hammocking season is about 3 months long here. And, a lot of our camping is roadside where good hanging trees are hard to find. And, snow camping and treeless sagebrush camping on the steppe in the Inland Northwest. If I still lived in Maryland and Virginia and camped more in my beloved central Appalachians I would not sell.
