Spur of the moment SHT trip

Through a quirk of scheduling, I ended up with Mon, Tues, Wed off so tomorrow night after work, I am hopping in the car and driving the 5 hours up to the SHT for some fall colors hiking and hanging. Any SHT vets have any suggestions for trailheads that are very close to campsites and are hike-able in the dark. I wont get up there until midnight or later. Worse comes to worse, I'll just sleep in my car at a trailhead. Loading the pack up now so after work I can just grab it and go.

You might consider spending your first night at Jay Cooke State Park. I haven't been back yet but, I have heard the swinging bridge is back in service. Get up early and finish the drive after enjoing the sights at the Southern most reaches of the SHT.
