Hey guys,
I have completed my first DIY down underquilt, and I took pictures along the way and made them into a tutorial of sorts. I know other tutorials here helped me tremendously so I thought I'd do the same in case someone might like it. I did not use grosgrain for the channels, instead I integrated them from the nylon and am happy with how that turned out. Total cost of materials was somewhere around $90 I think.
I think this would be considered a easy/moderate difficulty project, leaning more towards moderate. For sewing you don't need anything other than a straight stitch, but the nylon can be tricky slippery to work with especially if you're doing hand pleats along the way - that was the most difficult part.
I'm happy with how it turned out, I kind of wish I needed another one because it was so fun! Thanks
