I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.
Our new VP (Paulie) just gave us the best idea for this hang - we're going to host a Post-Christmas White Elephant Gear Gift Exchange!
I've updated the spreadsheet with a new field for you to indicate whether or not you'd like to participate. If you would like to, please bring a gear item (new or used but in good usable condition) in some sort of wrapping. We'll hold the gift exchange sometime Saturday evening to give everybody a chance to arrive and enjoy gifts, pig meat, and the frozen company of others.
Here's the SS link again for those that need it:

Thanks to the generosity of an up and coming new cottage vendor, there will be a REALLY unique surprise door prize for attendees, along with a few other surprise door prizes we've lined up. Just gets better and better. Pig, white elephant, and door prizes...
What's next?

The news is out!
Thanks to Justin and Hound Dogs Hammock Gear, the big-time door prize this year is a full Butt Warmer hammock chair insulation system!
Be there to win!

Well the son and I did a test hang last night and it got down to 29 degrees. Gear worked great but a little tuning is needed. Hoping the get there on Saturday afternoon.
Straight out of Clayton.
Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.
I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.
I expect you can leave the ice cream at home for this one! I'll probably get my first test hang in come late December, after exams are over for the semester. I've got a new (to me) underquilt this year that Dawn made, but I'm also in a Dangerbird this year with an overcover. New options means new tweaks, I think.

Hello everyone. I'm for sure coming to the S.C. Frozen butt hang. It's kind of funny because I alway associate SC with hot, humid weather. The Fall Sprawl was a blast, can't wait for this one. I will be bringing two new Hammockers along this time. They are from Columbia and Charleston. Im planning on (5) in my party. Looking forward to some good hang time!

Awesome! You were a blast to have at Fall Sprawl so I can't wait to get to hang with you and your people again.
I actually live right outside Columbia, might end up that I know your new guy. (I always get disproportionately excited about new people from near me)
Also, don't forget to update the spreadsheet so we can plan the vittles accordingly.
