If all are welcome and my schedule aligns I might be game. Sounds like fun.

I'm sure everyone is welcome! Come on up!
MacEntire & Ken are right. If we choose that campsite (& I hope we do) it's basically all down hill on the way in, until you get to the trail that follows the river, the Linville Gorge Trail (LGT), & that's just a little up & down. Not bad at all.
And the trail in & out is not a bad trail. Just take your time.
I've taken kids & out of shape friends on that trail & they did fine.
As we get a little closer, we'll make a list of perspective hammockers, but the site that Ken, MacEntire & me used earlier this year is nice & flat w/ enough well spaced trees to handle as many hammocks as needed.
I too will something make and joy in it's making
Here's a link to my Picasa web album, showing the camp site being talked about.

-don't think I can make it as it during the work week but I will try.
Slowhike,
Those are some pretty pictures of pretty country. Hope I can make it down some day.
Looks like things are aligning for that week before Halloween!!! Unless a major disaster occurs or I get locked up for killing someone overseas ... ahem .. I'll be back in country ... furniture market will end on the 22nd ... and life will be good!
Now ... got to make sure I get Shug some good livermush for the gorge!
