    WV>Spruce Knob/Seneca Creek>Nov6-9th>Hike-N-Hang

Me and my hiking buddy, Dayglow, are doing this hike in November and were wondering if there was any others who are interested in joining us on the hike. We havent formulated a specific plan on what campsites to reach on certain days yet so we are open to suggestions. This hike could be done in 2 days easily but we wanted to enjoy the trail a few more days than normal so it will be stretched out over 4 days. Here is a Link to the description of the the trail. Pretty excited about this trip and may try and do it again in the spring if it turns out to be as good as others say.

Very tempted by this. I'll need to see how pre-Thanksgiving chores are going. Lovely spot, and I haven't hiked the upper part of the Huckleberry Trail. Beware: the cracks and crannies at those beautiful campsites are inhabited by the most brazen and voracious food-stealing mice. I had a dog with me last time and had no trouble, but heard tales of woe from people camped at nearby sites.

I'm interested, 4 days might be stretching it a little though? Then again it might be cool to hang out around the falls and enjoy it.

Yeah the 4 days is abit lengthy but we really wanted to be able to kick back and relax a day or two near the falls and the vistas.

I’d love to join you, but work's crazy that week and I’m leaving town that weekend… Maybe next time. Planning on doing that very same hike in the Spring with my son.

I think they're getting snow there this weekend, so plan for a cold trip unless things warm up between now and then. My wife and I were up in the Dolly Sods last weekend and it was very beautiful. That entire area seems gorgeous, just very muddy and rocky. Mice were a minor issue for us as well... after the first one charged into camp, my wife swore they were crawling over her feet every time the light died!

Have fun, and hope to see a trip report!
