First night out checklist help please

I have a basic ENO setup:
Doublenest, Bugnet, Atlas Straps, Dry Fly

Taking it on my first camping/full overnight this weekend.
No chance of rain, Low of 52 so it should be a good practice run.
I will be camping near water so it will be colder than the forecast but I wouldn't expect it to get below 45.

I have a Thermarest RidgeRest Pad that is longer than me.
Sleeping Bag for OQ (feet in method)
A Junior-sized Sleeping bag that makes a pretty good Pea Pod UQ (though I probably won't need it, I'll HAVE it)

Just using the ENO adjustable ropes for the tie-outs
    Lightweight AL tent stakes

I have a comfy Fleece Hood.
Will hang a fanny pack accessory bag up at the head end.

    Forgetting anything?
Just don't want to have that 2am "Oops!" thing

    THANKS

I alway treat my straps and suspension with permetherin to keep ants off but they are especially bad here in Ga.
A ground tarp might be nice not really necessary though.

A way to bail if things go sideways. Any time I try out a new essential piece of gear, I do it some place that I can get to safety easily.

Not that I expect your night to be bad, given your described gear. Just a general caution.

    Have fun!

I'm not sure of the stress that would be put on the bugnet ridgeline attachments, but you might could use a sleeping bag as an underquilt (resting in the bottom of the bugnet) if there wasn't a big gap. Worth a try if it gets cold. Also, an internal ridgeline (inside the bugnet) would be handy for storage and hanging lights. Have fun

If I take the time to do it, I can set up a 'backup' Tent.
But it seems like I have enough margin for error with the weather forecast and I have more than enough warmth available (I THINK)>

In a test hang today, I was able to use a Bag as a fairly snug fitting (maybe too much) Pea Pod/UQ and cover.
it pulled up just above my shoulders.

My Ridgeline needs some attention. It's 550...Just holding the Bugnet up at the moment, but I'm going to see if I can find some decent line tomorrow at a good outdoor/climbing store.

And I AM going to try to run a line inside the bugnet.

Also, have a stuff sack that I am going to try to make a Black Bishop Sack with.
I already figured out that I could stuff my whole Hammock/Ridgeline/Bugnet/Pea Pod Bag all assembled into a stuff sack for QUICK set up.
Then I found out that I wasn't the first person to think of that.

    Love this forum.
