    Fabric Samples

Today we received fabric samples for the DangerBirds that we have ordered. We really love the feel of the HyperD fabric. We were planning to have the Argon as our inner layer because of posts that we have read about how nice if feels. After feeling both fabrics we decided that the Argon feels much rougher to the touch because of the ridges from the ripstop squares. The HyperD is much smoother against the skin so we decide to upgrade the inner layers to it, where the fabric will have the most skin contact. We feel like it will be well worth the extra cost.

I have attached photos of the fabrics that we have chosen to use for the two hammocks. The orange will be on the zipper covers of both hammocks, with orange top stitching, and orange grosgrain loops and tie outs. My husband is a big Florida Gators Fan, so he went with the blue outer layer, and I love the woods and nature (but am not a fan of traditional camo) so I went with the Night Grid. We are both going with the light weight top covers in black.

Thank you so much PapaSmurf for all of your help and suggestions. We can hardly wait to get our hammocks. I am sure that we will be posting and praising their awesomeness soon!

I think you are going to love the hyperD. Not sure about your taste in colors though...

You have made the correct decision. hyperD is the way to go for the inside layer. I was able to try 7 different Dream Hammocks at a PSH Fall Sprawl i held all of the samples and laid on the hyperD. If you have a dream hammock on order I recommend that you pay the $10-15.00 and not look back.

The HyperD does feel very nice against the skin and it make a nice solid feeling hammock.
I'm really looking forward to working with the HyperD Olive and Night Grid Camo together in one hammock. Every time I decide what my next personal hammock is gonna be, someone configures one even better.

You're certainly welcome, but I gotta confess. MamaSmurf did all the samples and color suggestions.

You're quite welcome When I was cutting out the samples, I had all the HyperD fabrics out and seen the olive beside the night grid, and thought ohhhhh, that looks really nice together.

No, but that would be awesome. I am doing a double layer with HyperD Olive on the inner layer.
