I have a DIY bug sock (so it's removable). It drives me nuts. Unfortunately the bugs are bad enough except the dead of winter that I have to use something. I'd love to have a stowable and I'm trying to save up for a Dangerbird.

Removable. In warmer temperatures, I'm carrying less insulation, so the total weight isn't much of an additional burden. In colder weather, I like to look at the stars unhindered, and the extra weight of my insulation is somewhat offset by leaving the bug net behind.
