Those look to be pretty fantastic! If you have some available now I'd love a pair of light blue or non anodized ones... can you ship to the UK?

I have plenty available. I will be anodizing after they are ordered but the same day this way I am not stuck with an unpopular color. I am not sure about shipping to the UK. I will have to learn about that. If you want PM me your address. I will see what it takes and get back to you. I am working out the bugs on my site now and will add shipping out of the country to the list.

How were they tested? I'm interested, but at 370lbs I worry about slippage.
I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.

I have a rig for pull testing them using the amsteal. It is basically a seesaw that is one foot on one end and 5 foot on the other. Put the device one end and 200lbs of tractor weight on the other and the force is multiplied to 1000lbs. If you string your hammock super tight you can exceed 1000lbs. I recommend a max hang angle of 30 degrees.

Love the ingenuity. I could see this being a good alternative to whoopie slings.

I can see another advantage: you only need a single line of Amsteel, not double as with whoopies. You can either save weight or get almost double the reach of your current whoopies for the same weight.

To me it's more like a replacement for the buried bottom section of a UCR, but without the fiddle and sore fingers of milking the life out of it. I think these will be really great.
