    Suspension trouble

I just replaced my ENO suspension with dogbones and UCRs and added an adjustable ridgeline. I've hung my tree straps as high as I can, but I cannot seem to get my hammock high enough to hang off the ground when I'm in it. I'm sure I've made some dumb noob mistake, but please help I can't see the issue even if it's obvious

Looks like your trees are too far apart. Also, use continuous loops on the hammock ends instead of dog bones as you can get a shorter distance to where they connect to the rest of the suspension.

You want to aim for a 30 degree hang angle. If you don't have closer trees is it possible to get on a ladder to raise the attachment points or is the maximum height maxed out.

Yup! Your suspension lines should be roughly 30° sloping down from your trees to your hammock.

like bubba said, the dog bones your using look really long and if you hang from trees that far apart then the straps will need to be very high on the tree

I just wanted to say that I have the same colored hammock, and I love it! Turquoise and purple together are my favorite color combination. :-)
