I spent my sick day stalking the Postman and I was rewarded by a wonderful Smurfy hammock!After I called my husband to let him know his Harley parts were also in, I informed him I would be setting up the hammock in the living room. He wasn't overly excited by anything I said after "Harley parts" but I didn't care.
I set it up and began playing with all the zippers. I wasn't too sure how the overcover and net could reside on the same zipper but I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked! The Smurfs are ingenious! The cats and dogs were all curious as I laid in the hammock for the first time. All four of them were peering over the edge wondering what I was doing and then...My husband's cat decided to start playing with my foot as I tried to get comfy.
I was SOOOO sure that my brand new hammock had been damaged that started quietly praying that my hubby wouldn't notice him missing when he got home.
Luckily for the cat...and his owner (because all naughty kids belong to the other parent) the hammock withstood the claws and came out unscathed.
I'll do a full review with pictures after the Texas hang in a couple of weeks. I can't WAIT!!
