Should be noted that for those of us who use 12' 2x4 hammock stands, these will allow you to use amsteel suspension on an 11' hammock.. you can button up right up to the tie off point.

I don't use dynaglide in any suspension because it is less than the 1000 breaking strength after it is tied or spliced. For liability reasons I only suggest 7/64ths amsteel. It will work the same way though. Thanks for reminding me to put that on the site.

So you can order just the hook + lead, correct? And I can put it on my own tree straps (as in it's not permanently attached to tree straps you have to purchase with it)? And if the loop is spliced on that end, then the bury has to be buried, correct? And then you can't technically bring the hook ALL the way up to the tree straps then because of the thickness of the bury? (trying to see if this will work for me when I have two trees really close together and my existing whoopies won't go short enough).
