Just ordered a couple on pairs. I am sure this weekend we will be able to test any bouncing needed. I am hoping, but totally sure, we dont test the falling out test. I am going to have my entire family, for the first time, hanging in the woods. I had all my stuff figured. Me and my son have complete rigs. I have a skeeter beeter with net for my daughter and I am making a hammock for this weekend, but in all my planning I forgot to figure whoopies for the extra 2 hammocks. I have only about 15' of amsteel. I have some extra long tree straps. So I am going to make some speed hook set ups, instead of buying 50 feet of amsteel.

Was just on the site and looking thru the hammock stuff. I was wondering if these could be used in conjunction with the strap buckles, or dutch buckles. That way you can have even more adjustability by using either of the buckles as a MSH. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work as long as the fixed loop of the amsteel leader can be slipped over the buckle. Opinions?

Yes and also the Adutchable clip, all of them make it so you can adjust the strap to the size of the tree.

Thanks Dutch. I've been dialed in for a while with my rig and happy. I've still looked in occasionally but decided it was time to get back and see what's new. I'm excited about the speed hook and have just made a Desert Camo Bridge, Griz style, and several more to come, that I can use them on.
