The half loops get pretty tight after one load. They won't come undone without a deliberate attempt to do so.

Has anyone else had issues getting these to work with stuff in the hammock? I tried switching from my whoopies to the speed hooks with my hammock fully set up under the tarp. That did not work at all! After messing around with them for 30-45 minutes I gave up and hooked my whoolies up so I could go to sleep I couldn't figure out how to keep the tension on while twist and loop thing. Is this operator error or a design problem?
It is a little tricky. I basically lift my hammock up a little higher than I want so once I put the twist over the top and drop it down onto the speed hook it should settle right where I want it.

Looks like a great alternative to the whoopie hook, I hope to one day own and use this great Dutch invention.

I drank the Kool-Aid. Order confirmed, now the wait. I like the idea of being able to hang closer to the trees when necessary.
